P. Cole Law
P. Cole Law, Attorney at Law is a lifelong resident and native of Bartow County, Georgia. Family roots date back to the early 1800s in Bartow. He goes by “Cole”.
​
He graduated from Cartersville High School in 1983. Thereafter, he entered the United States Air Force serving two years on active duty and four years in the reserves. He was Honorably Discharged.
​
During his time in the Air Force, he started attending college at Macon Junior College in Macon, Georgia.
​
He then transferred to Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, Georgia. He was in the last graduating class in June 1990 of Georgia Southern College before it became Georgia Southern University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Business.
​
He then attended Georgia State University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated Cum Laude in June 1993. He was in the top 10% of his class and was on Law Review.
​
During law school and after graduating, he worked for a major Atlanta insurance defense firm.
​
However, with his roots in Bartow County, he was drawn back to Cartersville in 1994. He thereafter served as the Law Clerk for the Superior Court judges of the Cherokee Judicial Circuit.
​
After his clerkship ended, he served on the “appointed” list in Gordon County and Bartow County representing indigent defendants.
​
He also was appointed as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia where he represented the Department of Child Support Services for fifteen years in seven northwest Georgia counties.
​
He has tried 60-70 jury trials and approximately 25,000 bench trials as of May 2022.
​
He has obtained multiple six-figure jury verdicts and had multiple seven-figure settlements.
​
He was certified as a mediator in 2010 and is registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He has mediated approximately five thousand cases.
​
He has a daughter “Maggie” who is a Nurse Practitioner in Cartersville, Georgia and he currently resides in Cartersville.
